Computer Repair
Computer repair will help the user to get their computer back to functioning state in case it was broken and no longer worked properly. Repairing a computer is the best option if you do not have enough funds to purchase a new one.
Hardware Repair: In case an internal component of a computer fails to function properly it is best to replace it with a new one. It is impossible to repair a damaged component without a classification and appropriate tools.
Software Repair: software problems can be solved in home conditions but require certain experience. Remember, before conducting any major changes on the computer the user must back up all of the information on the computer to prevent data loss. Complete the following steps:
- Identify the problem. Use software like Event Viewer and Task Manager to detect and understand the problem.
- Establish theories of probable cause. Start from obvious issues and continue with complex problems that could have caused the problem.
- Test your theories of probable cause of the problem. If you cannot determine the exact cause of the problem after testing all your theories, establish a new theory of probable causes and test it.
- Establish a plan of action to resolve the problem and implement the solution. If the solution does not solve the problem, return to step 2.
- Make sure that the problem is fixed and that no additional problems have been created. If possible, have the customer verify the functionality. Reboot the computer and make sure that all applications are working. Verify internet and network connection.
- Document actions, findings and outcomes. Record the following actions in the repair journal. Describe the problem. Write the steps to resolve the problem and components used in the repair.
